For Project Serve we spent time at the World Relief Triad community garden making paths and getting areas ready for planting.

There are many ways to serve out in the community. By simply talking with people to find out the needs that they have and praying for them can help show them that you care is a huge deal. Some of the things can be like creating scarves, hats and plastic beds for the homeless, or helping to cut up a tree for a non-profit organization. I have chosen to be a light out in the community not to gain a way into heaven. I am doing these things because of what Christ has done for me.

God has helped me be able to take that step out of my comfort zone and learn a whole lot about my own self and others through getting out into the community as well as seeing what he has shared through what he has written in his word. Oh how he must grieve for this world.
