Volunteer Center-High Point University

They have a goal of reaching 62 units so please come out to support them! They are offering any donor age 16-24 a $10 gift card by email with their donation and any donor 25 or older will receive a $5 gift card by email.

Hello everyone! In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month we are holding a virtual walk to show our support! We have 6 categories to compete in if you would like and there are breast cancer themed prizes that will go to the winner of each category!

THE CATEGORIES INCLUDE:
Best Pink Outfit- goes to the person decked out in the most festive breast cancer awareness gear (pink clothing) for their walk/run
Best Group- goes to the best group of people to go on a walk/run
Farthest Distance- goes to the person who participates that Is the farthest distance away from HPU
Best Scenery- goes to the person with the best view on their walk/run
Most Submissions- goes to the person who submits the most throughout the week
Early Bird- goes to the person who does their walk/run the earliest in the morning

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
-Log your walk/run using any fitness tool (for example Apple Watch, Fitbit, health app, etc) and send us a screenshot making sure to provide us with the distance and amount of time it took.
-You can either direct message this to us on instagram () or private message us on facebook!
-Please also provide us with an email that is the best to contact you in the even you get a reward.
-Make sure to also send us pictures and the award category you want to compete in! Good luck!

🎀NEW EVENT🎀 Wear pink on Wednesdays all throughout October and tag us in a picture or story using the hashtag to be posted on our instagram and facebook!

According to the MC Anderson Cancer Center “breast cancer is responsible for more than 40,000 deaths in the United States each year, along with more than 265,000 cancer diagnoses. Fortunately, new treatments have pushed the disease's five-year survival rate to nearly 90%.” Help us continue to fight this illness and increase the survival rates!

To conclude September as appreciation month we need your help thanking our professors!! You can write a card to a specific professor or just in general... ends 10/5!
