Sage Wisdom

There's an ole cliché which says, "A stitch in time saves nine." For many of us, the meaning & relevance is clear. If we observe an unraveling, we know that a separation is soon to follow . . . if we do not do anything about it. Spiritually speaking, wisdom is the stitch that holds our lives together and saves us from a life of regret.
Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Looking & Listening

Prayer is an essential part of any believer's life. In prayer, we pour out our hearts to the Lord, we exalt & magnify Him, and we seek relief from the issues of life. Another essential element of our life in Christ is expectation. Keep hope alive by looking and listening for the manifestation of our prayers. In other words, keep your eyes & ears open to your next great blessing!

God, the one and only—I’ll wait as long as he says.
Everything I hope for comes from him, so why not? He’s solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul, An impregnable castle: I’m set for life. Psalm 62:5-6 MSG

Happy Memorial Day!

Thankful for all who have bravely fought for the freedoms we enjoy today. All gave some — some gave all!

I challenge you to plant a seed & watch it grow. IYKYK

I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest. John 12:24

We can count the number of seeds in an apple but we can't count the number apples in a seed. 🤔

What Now?!?!

The birth, life, death, burial, & resurrection have all now taken place. What now? What next? The short answer is: YOU! Between now and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have work to do filling heaven with souls. Carrying out the Great Commission is the most effective use of our time on earth until we transition into everlasting life.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Omnipotent — All Powerful

Some of Jesus' last words after His resurrection and before His ascension to heaven as recorded by Matthew let us know that He has all power. As His children, we have access to all that we need to live our best life on earth and an even better life for all eternity. Praise the Omnipotent One who is with us always, even unto the end of the world!

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
