Oak Hollow Sailing Club was organized in 1974, in cooperation with the City of High Point Parks and Recreation Department. Join us in congratulating three of our members for their performance at Lake Waccamaw's Hobie Island Waccamaw Weekend which was held June 6th and 7th at Lake Waccamaw, NC. Patrick and Leslie Duffy finished 1st In the Tandem Island fleet and Curtis Crotts finished 1st in the Adventure Island fleet. Way to go!

Busy morning at the lake and the activities continue all day! From 12 to 4 Oak Hollow Sailing Club is taking people out on free 30 minute boat rides. We have a couple spots available at 2:00 but if you don’t mind waiting a few minutes come on out and we will get you on a boat.

Sailing is such a diverse sport. From a peaceful outing on the lake to high Performance racing.
2026 Apex Group Bermuda Sail Grand Prix Island style. Supercharged. The Apex Group Bermuda Sail Grand Prix returns to the Great Sound. May 9-10, 2026.
Community Day 2026 was so much fun. 90 people came out and experienced what it is like to sail. Sailing is a great family experience, and you can join for just $110 per year, which includes access to the club boats.
No experience, no problem. With online training and support from our members, you'll be sailing quicker than you think.

Saturday from 12-4 we are having our annual Community Day where you can experience sailing. All slots are full, HOWEVER if you don’t mind waiting come on out. We are giving 30 minute boat rides. All people 5 and over can participate.
Checking out our new Hobie Wave and taking a new member out sailing. Great time minus the pouring rain and now no wind.
