We’re excited to launch our Spanish CookWell series in partnership with Greater Vision Outreach Ministry, Davidson County Local Food Network, and Piedmont Fresh made possible by a grant from Resourceful Communities!

Food is the language that connects us all. Through these cooking class we celebrate culture, learn new skills, and building a healthier community with each meal we preparer together.

Beyond grateful for the opportunity to be 1 of 15 patient advisory members to help shape the national American Heart Association Healthcare by Food initiative sharing our human journey navigating the landscape of Food As Medicine for us all.

My “why” is to empower individuals and communities to live healthier, more fulfilling lives through food, wellness and education, creating a lasting impact that’s transform lives and strengthens relationships.

Thank you High Point Elks for gifting us a grant to continue to feed food education forward and spread holiday joy to our CookWell program members! CookWell is an on going year program with WellCare working with a Registered Dietitian providing cooking classes, monthly assessments, telehealth follow ups and nutritional newsletters with recipes to improve homemade meals and nutritional goals
