For me! Spacing is a little off at the top, but my life is a little off! Right? In hindsight, I should have placed “life is short” above the yoke.

The sewing room is open again! Doing some blankets for a dance squad.

Grandchildren are such a blessing! I have 9 now! Four wonderful young ladies and five fabulous gentlemen! I gave some beginner sewing “lessons”, YEARS ago, to my two older granddaughters (middle and elementary school ages at the time). We have not gotten back to them since then, but I always promised to give them my machine when I upgraded. The oldest, Casey, is now a Junior in High School. Last week at church, I told the girls I was ready to give them the machine. I ordered myself a new Bernina 570QEE and it has arrived. Little did I know that Casey apparently had been talking about wanting to start sewing again. She texted me this morning, saying she had read the manual, watched the videos I referenced for her, plus several others, and said she had completed her first project. She said after she started, all that I taught her in those few lessons came right back! So proud of her! She made some little pj shorts, and hand stitched a matching blueberry to a Tshirt. By the way, she taught herself to crochet, too!
Now Ella, the youngest, is learning to sew as well on the machine she got from us for Christmas and birthday.
This makes this grandmother so happy!!

Doesn’t have to be for Christmas!

Split side seam designs are a new machine embroidery fad! They’re really cute! The bows are at the bottom hemline and cut open at the side seam. There are many options for designs, not just Christmas of course! I’m not sure that I could get any more done for Christmas, anyway, but there are options for baseball stitching and many others. And of course the colors of the bows could be anything!
