Thanks to Circle of Love Animal Sanctuary for the dog and cat food donations to Helping Hands of Hico and to Jamie Long for helping unload.

United Care will be handing out boxes tomorrow at 9:00 at the Center.
That’s Monday, August 31st.
Books and clothes on the porch are free.
Please do not dump things at the Center unless approved.
We are not Goodwill.

Tomorrow United Care will hand out boxes at 9:00 am at our Center: 411 N. Mesquite.
We have continued to serve our Meals On Wheels’ folks a hot meal Monday through Thursday since March 13.
They really appreciate a hot meal and we are so grateful to the restaurants, Helping Hands of Hico( our local churches!) and individuals who help us with meals!
Tomorrow is pizza and salad from Giovani’s and cookies from Two Clay Birds.
We only have a few people who are on our list so if you wish to help with meals and/ or desserts, please private message JIll Campbell.
I can pick up the meals at any restaurant you want to purchase 5 meals from: helps local businesses and serves our community!Plus, they don’t have to eat my cooking which many people can attest to how much they suffer when I cook!

Fun times and more will come!
Thanks to all who make our Center possible and who have donated to Helping Hands of Hico, all of our local churches and citizens joined together to help our community.
We have continued to do United Care at the Center with wonderful volunteers.
We have also continued to serve our Meals on Wheels folks ( unless they have family with them or medical helpers) since March 13, a daily home-cooked lunch!
Thanks to those who have donated either food or made contributions to the Center and/or H3.
I’ve already thanked the first group last month.
The latest kind souls helping with meals include Pam Dean and Chuck Erwin from Left-Handed Gun.
So appreciative for our monthly donations from all of our churches and Buddy Teague.
