We are a very active post that takes many trips and tries to stay as involved as possible in aviation. Our goal is simple and that is to explore aviation.
Teenagers from ages 14-20 are invited to participate in some once in a lifetime opportunities which include but are not limited to: volunteering at Oshkosh, Taking trips to Airshows, Volunteering at Fly-ins, taking Ground school training, and more. We highly encourage new membership and are very optimistic of the future of our club. We are the future of aviation it’s time we get our youth involved too.
No meeting tonight, Cancelled 10/14/2014 in honor of this wonder weather that is probably not safe for any of us to be out driving in.

VX is on the south side of US 70. The land falls away, and they are somewhat below the elevation of the highway. There is a recently-installed telephone cell tower on the property, that's a good landmark

AEROBATICS COMPETITION AT MORGANTON AIRPORT OCTOBER 17-20

IAC Chapter 19 The Carolinas IAC Chapter 19 will host the 2013 Blue Ridge Hammerfest October 17-20, 2013 at the Morganton Airport in Morganton NC. The contest will be for Primary through Unlimited categories.
