Fall 2023 was FULL of LOVE and weddings! Here are a few favs from the Carr’s gorgeous wedding at Cedar Knoll in Mount Vernon, VA!

My final wedding of 2023 was captured at a new beautiful Catholic Church in Aldie, VA. I had to follow some new rules, including no flash photography inside, so I was hopeful for the natural light. The beautiful bride was SO calm and peaceful, and her son walked her down the aisle. The reception was perfect and it was incredible to catch family sunset photos! Here is a sampling of the Smithdeal's amazing wedding celebration!

More cards with my photos arrived this week!!! I have met so many members of this wonderful family because I have had the privilege to photograph them multiple times! 💛
I have met Grandparents, here in one of the two cards, older sisters from out of town, taken baby reveal, maternity & new baby photos!! More recently, I had the privilege to capture them for two family holiday cards!!
I also just received a text from Mom with ❤️❤️❤️ for my New Years card that I sent to clients! To say I am grateful is not enough! 🙌🏼💛🙌🏼💛

This female Black Swallowtail has been through a lot, but she is enjoying my bright orange zinnia. I see such beauty in her and applaud her to carry on with her damaged wing. I think there are days, we humans feel incomplete. Let's cheer each on and lend a helping hand.
