I'm so glad I was able to spend the past week in Louisville at the National Conference of State Legislatures’ Legislative Summit! It was great to meet with legislators from all across the country and reconnect with old friends. I attended a myriad of sessions focused on AAPI issues, sustainable energy, AI, gun violence prevention, workforce devlopment, and more. I'm excited to take everything I learned from this past week and put it into my work here at home in VA.

I am proud to endorse Keven LeBlanc For Herndon Mayor to be the next Mayor of Herndon.

Keven has been actively involved in our community for many years, helping to bring events like WinterMarkt to the Town. He understands our community's priorities and knows how to deliver policies to keep Herndon moving forward.

During my time in office, I have always found Keven to be a collaborative counterpart on the Town Council, and he has consistently shown up for the work (and not just the photo opps). I wholeheartedly support Keven and am confident that he is the best person to lead Herndon into our next chapter.

I really appreciated the opportunity to participate in this year's Environmental Justice Retreat with Virginia Interfaith Power & Light. It was great to hear from advocates and policy experts about the most pressing issues we face. From data centers to grid modernization, we covered a lot of ground! I look forward to continuing my work with the EJ community to advance forward-looking policies that center equity and justice.

Town of Herndon Voters! The Fairfax County Democratic Committee will be endorsing candidates for Herndon Mayor and Town Council this election cycle through a caucus process. Candidates who receive this endorsement will appear on the Democratic sample ballot in November. Here's how to participate in the endorsement caucus:

1. Register to vote in the endorsement caucus at FairfaxDemocrats.org/2024Caucus by Friday, July 26 at midnight!

2. Those registered for the caucus can vote electronically from Monday, August 5th to Friday, August 10th. There will also be in-person voting on Saturday, August 10th at a location to be determined.

I strongly encourage you to participate in this caucus as it will determine the Democratic ticket for the November election!
