We Salute Our Sponsors!!

Historic DeSoto Foundation salutes Gold Sponsors for Gala
Sponsors at Silver and Bronze Levels also lauded for support

Throughout its 20-year history, the Historic DeSoto Foundation/DeSoto County Museum has been so very fortunate to have the support of sponsors like DeSoto Restoration and Winn AR, LP, which are gold sponsors of the DeSoto County Museum’s 20th Anniversary Gala this Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Colonial Hills North Campus located at 7701 U.S. Highway 51 in Southaven.
The Gala is honoring “Trailblazing Women” who have helped to shape and spearhead DeSoto County’s phenomenal growth and progress since its establishment in 1836. The award recipients will be officially unveiled Thursday evening. Other award recipients will include DeSoto County and various municipal officials who have supported the continued growth and development of the DeSoto County Museum over the years. The Museum’s outstanding volunteers will also be recognized. A silent auction featuring an array of spectacular items will also be showcased.
“As a lifelong resident of DeSoto County, it’s been an honor to work alongside our sister company, DeSoto Roofing, in revitalizing the DeSoto Museum,” JC Caldwell, owner of DeSoto Restoration, said of his company’s involvement as a gold sponsor of the event. “It’s been a privilege to contribute to preserving and celebrating the rich history of our community,” Caldwell said.
Caldwell and his crew were especially instrumental in helping to repair the Museum’s roof and make other repairs following a high wind event this past year.
“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has dedicated their time and talents to preserving the history of DeSoto County,” Caldwell said. “We look forward to continuing our partnership and contributing to the growth and revitalization of this incredible community.”
Caldwell said DeSoto Restoration helps families rebuild when disaster strikes.
DeSoto Restoration is a family-owned, locally operated business dedicated to serving the DeSoto County community and surrounding areas. Founded in 2019 by J.C. Caldwell, we specialize in emergency water and fire mitigation and dry-out services, helping homeowners and businesses recover quickly from unexpected disasters.
DeSoto Restoration was established from J.C.’s passion for helping others. After a decade-long career in catastrophic insurance adjusting, Caldwell said he saw firsthand the emotional and financial toll that property damage can take. He knew there had to be a better way to serve people in their most challenging moments. That’s why he founded DeSoto Restoration—to provide not only expert restoration services but also the compassion and customer service that clients truly need during stressful times.
“Our mission is to make the restoration process as smooth and stress-free as possible,” Caldwell said. “From burst pipes to house-fires, we understand that emergencies are never planned. That’s why we’re committed to offering fast, professional mitigation and dryout services, helping you get back to normal as quickly as possible.
Other sponsors for the 20th Anniversary Gala include, at the Silver Level: Austin Law Firm, P.A.; Barry Bouchillon Agent, State Farm Insurance, Jon Stevenson, Lanier Hurdle, the Estate of Robert L.
