Over The Moon Custom Cakes
I specialize in creating sculpted cakes. These are cakes that have been carefully crafted into shape
Good evening everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know how much I have enjoyed this cake making adventure. I have accepted a new job and will be putting my bakers hat on the shelf indefinitely. It has been my pleasure to bake cakes for you all! From the bottom of my heart, I THANK YOU for letting me take part in all of your special occasions! Here’s to new goals and new adventures! ❤️❤️

Working on my buttercream piping skills! As most of you already know, I specialize in hand carved cakes covered in fondant. This was one massive cake and a challenge, but definitely a fun one!
Congrats from Over The Moon!!

Grooms cake! I’ve had some ask how I do my edible wooden floors. It’s just fondant that I press wood grain molds into and then hand paint with food coloring, thinned with everclear, to give it that natural woodgrain look. (Don’t worry, the everclear completely evaporates! 😉) It makes a great and attractive background for any cake to lay on. You can also brush lightly with clear sweet corn syrup to give it a shiny, glossy appearance. (This one was a matte finish so I didn’t brush with the corn syrup.) ❤️
