Had the pleasure of photographing these talented individuals at Orchid for Chinese New Year of 2016! Ling Nam Siu Lum Kung Fu Academy put on an amazing show!

I obviously had to leak one last photo before we finish up their album!

Wedding day socks on point! Had to acknowledge this epic line up before piling into the car.

My favorite shot from the hike to Trolltunga, atop Mount Skjeggedal. I completed the hike with my brother Billy Tvedt, who is sitting on the edge of the "Troll's tongue". What I appreciate the most about this photograph is the effort it took to get to this place. 4.5 hours there and back. Don't forget about the terrain -- many steep paths to climb, rivers to cross, large rocks, mud, and of course many inches of snow (yes, in the month of July)! The most notable obstacle in my opinion was this one raging river approximately 3 kilometers into the trail. See, we arrived during the beginning of summertime in Norway and the snow atop the mountain was already melting. Said river raised far above the trail for a good 20 yard segment. With no alternate route in sight, me and my brother had to take off our hiking boots/socks and cross the ice-cold river barefoot!! I would do it again in a heartbeat. Oh, and when you get to the Tunga, it's all fun and games until you look down.. so make sure you grab your shots before doing so!

Last but not least, shortly after reaching our destination there was a very loud strike of thunder in the distance, towards the right side of the photo at the end of lake Ringedalsvatnet. Possibly a sign of accomplishment sent down from our late grandfather, from who we recieved our Norwegian heritage. This one was for you Grandpa!

Throwback Thursday!! Where's Waldo? (Waldo the butterfly)

This photo was taken in a field at the corner of Atwood and Central ave in Johnston, RI.

It is a well known fact that there is a laundry list of lively locations to photograph in Newport, Rhode Island. However taking a road less traveled leads to, well, less photographed places!

As I drive through the shadow of the valley of death, I shall fear no evil.

Me and my brother attempted to explore Riverdale park the other day, however we could not find the entrance!! Out of ideas, we ended up checking out the Metro-North Riverdale Train Station. Just goes to show you good things can come out of unexpected places. =]
