We splashed into summer on our LAST DAY OF SCHOOL yesterday! This year has been an amazing year of transition, growth, and blessings! And while we are all ready for a short break, we are already excited for the things that the 2026-2027 year will bring! SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER! ☀️🏖️🏊‍♀️📺🍿

May-cember is in FULL SWING for us at The Learning Tree Academy but we cannot close out teacher appreciation week without highlighting some pretty special people!

Mrs. Tiffany and Mrs. Lisa are such an integral part of our school and making our days run smoothly! They have stepped in and stepped up this year to provide excellent daily instruction for our students!

We are also extremely thankful to have partnered with Midnight Blue Martial Arts and our art teacher Mrs. Boni this year! Our students thoroughly enjoyed our Friday’s learning karate and art!

God has truly blessed our school and our students with these special people this year!

LET ME TELL YOU ‘BOUT OUR JESUS!

This week, better known as the Spring Break Sprint to teachers, has been full of chaos and different routines but it has also been full of fruit and admiration.

Earlier this week we had the pleasure of visiting The Salvation Army Community Center of Henderson to spend time and do crafts with one of their adult classes! Truth be told, we are small in number and their group felt mighty; it didn’t seem to be enough of us. But our God provides! We had the best time crafting and talking and sharing the love of Jesus with them! Who says a few kids isn’t enough? The minute we returned to school, our students were already searching our calendar for a day we can go back!

It’s the final leg of our sprint and we spent our day finishing a study on the death and resurrection of Jesus, praising Him for paying a debt that we couldn’t, and bringing some visual reminders home for the Easter season!

At the end of some of the long days and crazy weeks, teachers sit back and wonder if what we are doing matters or whether anything we say is getting through to students. And then these pictures are what you get to look back on from today. We are planting seeds every day; making sure God is the center and the beginning of every day we’re together. And if that’s the best thing our teachers do every day, we’re doing something right. ♥️

The last few weeks here at The Learning Tree Acadamy have been about the advent season and the reason that God sent his son to be born and learning God’s mission for us: Go and Tell. How well they fit together this week! ♥️
