What an honor, Henderson Equality Center is the 2021 Winner for Best Networking Organization. What an honor to finish out 2021! Henderson Equality Center is only 18 months old, and in those 18 months they have done so much, and so much for our LGBTQ Community in Henderson and throughout Southern Nevada! Thank you, to everyone that voted for them, we could not have done this without all of the community support and believing in them!

It is the most translated document around the world and is available in over 500 languages. It has inspired countries and people alike to start treating every person with the right to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness. On Human Rights Day we acknowledge the importance of this document and the importance of human rights.

Honor Our LGBT Elders Day! Recognize the thousands of people in the LGBT community who have paved the way for access and social acceptance.The rights and acceptance that LGBTQ individuals have today did not occur in a vacuum or happen by accident. Our LGBT elders worked hard to gain rights and social acceptance.The observance is an opportunity for community centers, faith organizations, educational institutions, and aging service providers to recognize the lives of LGBT older adults and honor their contributions to history.
