📣 Nevada APA at NPC Detroit!
Today Chapter President Scott Carey presented at the National Planning Conference in Detroit, serving on a panel focused on the fast‑growing world of data centers.
Scott shared how Nevada communities are planning for this emerging industry, highlighting land‑use considerations, infrastructure needs, the economic opportunities data centers bring across the state, and lessons learned.
The panel was moderated by Tippe Morlan of the Utah APA Chapter, with fellow panelists Charles Bloom from the City of Cheyenne, WY, and Brandon Larson from Eagle Mountain City, UT — a fantastic cross‑state conversation on how planners are navigating this evolving sector.
