Rustic Handcrafted Patio Furniture

Just finished, hope chest, frame is 2x2, used bead boards for top, front and sides, back and bottom is plywood. Width is 23 in, length is 39 in and depth is 19 1/2 in. Used golden oak stain.

First full size rocker I built. Used a stain called honey.

King size platform bed, finished in Golden Oak stain. Platform height is 14.5 inches most mattresses are 10 inches for combined 24.5 height. Frame is 2x6 construction, legs are 1x6, headboard is also made of 1x6. Headboard and legs are trimmed in rope mouldings. Slats are 1x6. I prefer to use stains for the finish because it is absorbed by the wood and is much more weather resistant than paint. All projects can be finished in the color of your choosing. All contact surfaces are sanded with 220 grit sand paper for a smooth finish.

Glider chair, finished in Early American stain. Seat height is 17 inches, can build it shorter if preferred, the seat back has a 10 degree tilt. The footprint of the chair is 28 x 28 inches. $350.00
