BREAKING NEWS! BLACKPOOL TEACHER FOUND GUILTY OF SEXUALLY ABUSING 13-MONTH-OLD BABY TO DEATH!

A teacher has been found guilty of sexually abusing and murdering the 13-month-old baby boy he adopted with his partner.

Preston Davey died in July 2023 at the hands of Jamie Varley, 37, who took a year off work to adopt him.

Varley, from Blackpool, told police Preston had accidentally drowned in a bath, but a post-mortem examination discovered the child had suffered 40 injuries.

His partner John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, has been found guilty of sexual assault, child cruelty and allowing the death of a child.

Warning: The following court evidence contains distressing information

Preston was adopted by Varley and McGowan-Fazakerley, a financial sales manager, in April 2023 and in the next four months he suffered sexual abuse and ill-treatment, the trial at Preston Crown Court heard.

Preston was born in June 2022 and taken into care by Oldham Council.

Baby with curly light brown hair sitting in high chair. He has his finger in his mouth. He is wearing a baby grow with an elephant on it.

Preston's mother, Sarah Davey, now 42, had been jailed at the age of 14 for the murder of a frail pensioner in 1998 and had been in and out of prison since then.

In court, his mother and grandmother sobbed throughout as the 29 guilty verdicts were returned.

Preston was placed with foster parents at five days old, remaining with them for the first 10 months of his life.

Varley and McGowan-Fazakerley were approved for adoption and Preston began living at their home in April 2023, when he was nine-months-old.

How adoptive parents' lies unravelled to reveal 'reign of terror'

But in the just under four months he was in their care, he was routinely ill-treated, sexually abused and physically assaulted, suffering 40 traumatic injuries.

He also had indecent images and videos taken of him.

Varley stood in the dock and put his hands to his face in shock as the guilty verdicts were read out, before collapsing to his knees, wretching and vomiting.

McGowan-Fazakerley did not react but his father, who was watching from the gallery, shook his head.

McGowan-Fazakerley was found guilty of sexual assault, child cruelty and allowing the death of a child

Following an eight-week trial a jury spent about 14 hours considering the verdicts before returning to court.

Varley was found guilty of murder, two counts of assault by pe*******on, five counts of cruelty to a child, grievous bodily harm, sexual assault of a child, 13 counts of taking indecent photos or videos of a child, one of distributing an indecent photo of a child, to his co-accused, and one of making an indecent photo.

Both defendants will be sentenced on Thursday by Mr Justice Turner.

‼️ NURSE SAYS BRAZILIAN WOMAN WAS STILL ALIVE AFTER PLUMMETING 130 FEET

The 21-year-old Brazilian woman who fell to her death during a bungee jump after being thrown from a bridge without a safety cord was still alive immediately after the fall, according to an off-duty nurse who rushed to her aid.

Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas died Saturday after plunging approximately 130 feet from the abandoned “Skeleton Bridge” in São Paulo. Disturbing video of the incident, which has circulated widely on social media, shows staff members throwing her from the bridge before realizing she was not attached to a bungee rope.

Rayza Dias, an off-duty nurse who was at the scene, said she quickly made her way down the steep embankment beneath the bridge in an effort to help.

“I scraped my whole hand because there’s a steep slope down there and only one rope for us to climb down,” Dias told Brazilian television network Domingo Espetacular.

“It was all covered in mud. I kept going down, down, we walked all the way,” she said.

Dias said Rodrigues de Freitas was still alive when she reached her.

“I even talked to her. I have a habit of joking and saying, ‘Nobody dies on my shift.’ And I told her, ‘Duda, nobody dies on my shift,’ even though I wasn’t on my shift there,” Dias said as she became emotional recounting the incident.

Authorities allege the fatal jump took place at an unlicensed bungee operation. Investigators believe staff members failed to properly secure Rodrigues de Freitas to the safety equipment before she was sent over the edge.

Following the tragedy, six bungee jump operators were detained. Three were charged with homicide. Two of the suspects fled the scene after the incident and were later located by authorities with assistance from a military helicopter.

The three other individuals were later released without charges.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Rodrigues de Freitas’ death remains ongoing.

HE STEPPED UP TO PROTECT HIS DAUGHTER. HIS 14-YEAR-OLD STEPSON KILLED HIM

THE MURDER OF GARY THARRINGTON JR.
Durham, North Carolina | June 8, 2026

What began as an argument between teenagers ended with a father dead and a family forever changed.

On the afternoon of June 8, 2026, Durham police responded to a shooting at the Hoover Road Apartments in the 1100 block of South Hoover Road.

When officers arrived, they found 34-year-old Gary Tharrington Jr. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to a local hospital but did not survive.

According to family members and investigators, the violence erupted during a dispute between Tharrington's daughter and his 14-year-old stepson.

Relatives later told reporters the argument began over something as simple as a shirt.

As tensions escalated, Gary stepped in.

Family members say he was trying to do what many parents do every day — calm a situation before it got out of control.

Instead, authorities say the teenager pulled out a firearm and opened fire.

According to relatives, Tharrington was shot at least five times.

Other children inside the apartment fled in terror as gunfire echoed through the home. Some reportedly ran to a neighbor's residence seeking safety.

The 14-year-old suspect fled the scene after the shooting.

Police say he escaped by jumping from a window before disappearing into the neighborhood.

A community-wide search quickly followed.

The next day, on June 9, 2026, Durham police located and arrested the juvenile with assistance from tips provided by local residents.

Because the suspect is a minor, authorities have not publicly released his name.

The specific charges have also not been publicly disclosed.

Friends, neighbors, and family members have described Gary as a devoted father who cared deeply about his children and those around him.

Now, the people who loved him are left mourning a man who lost his life while trying to stop violence from happening in his own home.

A disagreement between teenagers should never have ended with a funeral.

But for the Tharrington family, that is now their reality.

Gary Tharrington Jr. was 34 years old.

He leaves behind children, loved ones, and a community struggling to understand how a petty argument escalated into a deadly tragedy.

Katie Lee (also known as Katie Austin Lee) is a Michigan mother who pleaded guilty to the torture and second-degree murder of her 17-year-old son, Austin Pickcard. In January 2026, a Michigan judge sentenced her to serve 60 to 90 years in prison.

Lee was arrested at her apartment in Holland, Michigan, in February 2025. Authorities discovered the teen had been drugged before his throat was fatally slashed. According to police and court records, Lee told dispatchers and investigators she committed the act to help her son die because he did not want to reach adulthood, framing it as a "murder-suicide pact".

Following her arrest, Lee faced a charge of open murder, but accepted a plea deal to avoid life imprisonment. In October 2025, she pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, torture, and resisting/obstructing a police officer. During her January 2026 sentencing, she addressed the court to apologize, and her defense attributed her mental health struggles to the isolation and impact of social media during the COVID-19 pandemic.

⚠️ TWO FORMER UTAH COURT CLERKS CHARGED WITH SNEAKING IMMIGRANTS OUT BACK DOOR OF COURT TO EVADE ICE ARREST:
Two former Utah court clerks have been arrested on federal charges after prosecutors say they helped undocumented immigrants avoid arrest by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Logan City Municipal Justice Court.
27-year-old Jennifer Joma, and 26-year-old Lauren Kelsey Morrow, both of Logan, Utah, were indicted June 3rd. According to federal court documents, the women allegedly learned ICE officers were at the courthouse on April 9th to arrest an undocumented immigrant and then used court databases to identify non-U.S. citizens scheduled to appear in court that day.
Prosecutors allege Joma and Morrow escorted several individuals through secure areas of the courthouse and out a back door to avoid detection by ICE agents waiting outside.
Court documents further allege that after helping one individual leave, surveillance video captured the two women waving and smiling at a camera, while Morrow gave the finger. Prosecutors also allege Joma later drove away with three undocumented immigrants in her vehicle before returning to work.
Both women are charged with conspiracy to transport and harbor undocumented immigrants, harboring undocumented immigrants, and obstruction of proceedings before federal agencies. Joma also faces an additional charge of transporting undocumented immigrants.
Their first court appearance is scheduled for June 11th in federal court in Salt Lake City.

Are we not tired yet ???

Everyone meet Jeffrey Tyler Kinzer
the man who used a AR-15-style rifle to shoot at a black family event on Sunday , June 7th . Not only was he wearing full body Armour, the neighbors who WITNESSED the event heard him screaming the N word prior to shooting at 20 people. Jeffery has only been charged with aggravated assault.

UNBELIEVABLE 😡!!!!
Where's the outrage? Where's the mass media?? Why isn't fox news spreading this story ?? 20 people = aggravated assault for THEM . 1 knife killing in self defense = 35 years for US . Running away from a gas station= getting shot in the back three times and your killer being found not guilty for US. Are we not tired ?? How many more of us have to die ? How many more headlines must we be in for things to change? Don't sit there and tell me times have changed. Don't sit there and tell me racism doesn't exist anymore . This is blatant mockery!!! They are showing us who they are ! They are showing us just how little black people mean to them. Are we not tired????

Public booking records also show multiple arrests across Spartanburg and Cherokee counties in recent years, though the outcomes of those cases can vary in court.

Do you think it points to deeper issues…or should the system be stepping in sooner?

In 2022, his child legally dropped his last name. In 2024, Musk called that child dead. In 2025, she responded.
Elon Musk made this statement during a interview with Jordan Peterson. He was referring to his child, formerly known as Xavier, who came out as transgender in 2022 and legally changed her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson. At age 18, she filed to drop the Musk surname and told the court she no longer wished to be related to her father in any way.
Musk claimed he was tricked into signing off on puberty blockers and said the experience inspired his campaign against what he calls the woke mind virus. Vivian responded publicly, calling his account inaccurate and saying he was largely absent during her childhood. She denied his characterizations of her personality and politics.
Both continue to publicly contradict each other's version of events.

"I can't breathe. It's too dark under here. Please quit pushing on my head, I can't do it. Somebody's sitting on top of me."

In April 2000, a 10-year-old girl named Candace Newmaker was brought to an unlicensed therapist in Colorado to undergo an alternative treatment known as rebirthing. The idea behind the therapy, which isn't supported by science, was to simulate the experience of emerging from the womb. The patient is tightly wrapped in a sheet and laid under a pile of pillows, which is then weighed down by the therapist sitting atop it. The patient must then wriggle out of this artificial "womb," thus being "reborn" into the arms of their loving parents.

After wrapping Candace in a flannel sheet, four adults weighing a total of 673 pounds held down the 70-pound girl. Over the course of 70 minutes, Candace struggled to escape as she was slowly smothered to dë@th, crying that she couldn't find her way out, that she couldn't breathe, and that she was going to dïë — and eventually, she did.
