The Center for Innovation had the privilege of partnering with Perry Memorial Library today for a fun-filled, hands-on STEM event! Families from across the area joined in as we explored this year’s library theme: “Color Our World.” 🌈
Together, we sorted through a rainbow of possibilities, tackling coding challenges, solving problems, and engaging in critical thinking. One of the highlights? An amazing augmented reality experience with Tricia Fuglestad’s interactive masterpiece, Peter O’Meter! Students were thrilled and even the parents were amazed to see stories come to life right before their eyes.
What a fantastic day of learning, creativity, and colorful discovery! 💡📚✨

We’re so incredibly proud of our students! Carver Elementary School took 1st place and E.M. Rollins STEAM Academy took 4th place in the regional BrickEd Robotics Competition. A huge thank you to our staff and stents for your dedication and perseverance. Congratulations!!!

Education has evolved! The Center for Innovation, built in the 1930’s, is now an innovation hub!! Students come to experience learning in a variety of areas including simulated careers, 3D and augmented reality, robotics, drones, audio and video production, and so much more! Check it out!

We had the bestest time ever with these keyboarding kiddos! Ready for round two coming soon to EMR!
We are so very proud of all our participants in this year's Adaptive Keyboarding Contest through Learning.com. The district has completed 355 Hours and 56 mins of keyboarding practice since February!!!!!!! That is outstanding!!! We are proud to announce our top 2 winners are Zeb Vance Elementary and E.M. Rollins STEAM Academy. They will receive a popsicle and play time party coming soon! Congratulations, everyone!!!!!
