To our incredible seniors…thank you for all of the laughter, every performance, inside joke, piece of advice, every hug, and every moment that made Makin’ Treble what it is. Every single one of you put so much of yourselves into this family, and it will never be forgotten. It’s hard to put into words what this feels like, because somewhere along the way this became so much more than just a group. You all made it so easy to call all of you our favorite people, our family, and our home.

Thank you for giving us memories we’ll hold onto for forever. We love you endlessly, you all have big things ahead of you. 🩷🤍🖤

Laney was more than our fearless leader & president the past 2 years, she has been a devoted member of Makin Treble for 4 years. She showed up during wind, rain, shine, illness, and grief. I have never met someone so determined with passion to uplift a room of women doing what they love while keeping order and direction. In her presidency we placed 2nd in ICCA quarterfinals last year and created sisterhood from the ground up, including many other successes. Losing Laney from this group will be difficult, but her presence will never be forgotten. We love laney for all that she is and it’s confirmed that she is onto bigger and better things outside of Hofstra, we hope to see your name in big lights on Broadway💖💖

I will forever miss the fun times at rehearsals and gigs with you all, and I wish time stood still so I could stay, but don’t waste your college years with things that make you stressed or sad, fill that time with things that make you happy and calm!!”✨

It has been the greatest honor to have Didi not only as a member of our group but as our treasurer. She is an absolute trailblazer, having not only a kind soul but the voice of an angel, supporting everyone around her. She has been a creative member of our group while also being highly intelligent, managing the fundraising for our group- including creating a philanthropy event to donate to Save the Music Foundation. Didi is nothing short of selfless and talented, we are going to miss her dearly and can’t wait to follow all of her successes. We love you🩷

Her message for the trebles: “I am so incredibly proud of each and every one of you. This year has been such an incredible rollercoaster ride and I would not have been able to do it without everyone’s help, encouragement, silly-goofiness, and love for one another. And maybe, the water gun threats were really the friends we made along the way.”✨

We will miss Deborah for her direction and passion that she held for this group, i’ve never seen someone put every bit of themselves forward for something they care deeply for. ICCA 2025 shows just this, a best arrangement award winner for our ENTIRE set? that’s quite the milestone you made for this group, you are the life force, and the treble dad. Your board loves you, and so do us treble members🩷

We have been so grateful to have Danielle in Treble as our vice president and the funniest member. You are the greatest energy to have in the room and without you, we will feel the hole in the group. Her Message to future treble: “come as you are, sick and swollen, brushed up and beautiful, this is the most supportive group you’ll ever enter. These women are inclusive and bright, always there to support you and encourage the best version of yourself. I love these women, they are the largest reason as to why goodbye is so hard”✨

We are all going to miss the shining star that Dana is to Treble. Her dedication to this club has always been so admirable, and the love and care she puts into everything never goes unnoticed. From the very first day as an alto to now, you have brought such warmth, joy, and positivity into this group. Your sweet soul is truly contagious, and your presence has made Treble feel like home for so many. Thank you for every laugh, every rehearsal, every performance, and every moment you made brighter just by being yourself. You are so deeply loved by all of us, and there’s no doubt you’ll continue to shine wherever life takes you next. We’re beyond proud of you🩷

We will miss Bela’s hyena laugh and enthusiasm, she will always be the brightest light in every room that she enters. Her bubbly energy at 10pm on wednesdays and hype woman words of encouragement during bootcamp inspired us all. It’s been a joy to have you from bass, to soprano, to soloist🩷
