On July 19th, we held a soft opening of a new small event, "A Dinner Party at the Mary Brennan INN" was held for a group of wonderful and happy attendees and INN supporters. We wish to thank INN Board member Peter Florey and Chef Jose for making this first intimate event a great success!

'INN' 1986, residents from other towns also wanted to serve those in need in their own communities. Under The INN's umbrella, network soup kitchens opened in Long Beach, Hicksville, Central Islip and Patchogue. Freeport became the 5th location that year.

He named the facility after his mother, Mary Brennan, a local humanitarian with a huge heart for helping others. It operated in that location for 13 years before moving to its current home a few blocks away on Madison Avenue in Hempstead. The Nassau County Bar Association , awarded The INN a $10k grant to help support the Oscar Romero INN (ORI), a special part of The INN's Long-Term Housing program. ORI is a transitional, supportive housing set-up for single men ages 18 and older. Guests of ORI work with caseworkers from The INN's Center for Transformative Change (CTC) with employment goals, medical & mental health concerns, legal issues and an array of support services. This will truly be helpful in continuing our mission. !

The INN has been awarded a grant from Bank of America that will help us continue to support guests in need in the soup kitchen, resource center, boutique and shelters. for your generosity!
