Last night’s Lincoln-Reagan-Trump Fundraising Dinner hosted by the Republican Party of Bexar County was an incredible event celebrating 250 years of America. 🇺🇸

Governor Greg Abbott delivered a powerful keynote speech focused on the strength of Texas, securing the border, defending our freedoms, and keeping Texas a leader for future generations. His message was a strong reminder of why staying involved and engaged matters.

It was also wonderful getting to speak with so many people throughout the evening, hear directly from members of the community, and spend time with fellow Texans who care deeply about the future of our state and country. Thank you to everyone who helped make the night such a success.

Devine - see you today at 6:30

Texas families, ranchers, and landowners deserve to be heard.

On Wednesday, May 13, I'm hosting a community forum in Devine to discuss the proposed Howard-Solstice Power Line Project and what it means for the people of TX-23.

This 300+ mile transmission line from San Antonio to Fort Stockton raises serious concerns about:
• Private property rights
• Property values
• Wildlife and natural resources
• Tourism
• Government transparency

Too many Texans feel they've been left in the dark while decisions affecting their land and livelihoods are being made. This forum is an opportunity for residents to ask questions, share concerns, and make their voices heard.

I’ve released a statement regarding the DHS Big Bend announcement and the future of border infrastructure in Southwest Texas.

From the beginning, I’ve worked to advocate for the people who live here and know this region best. Protecting our border and protecting Big Bend are not mutually exclusive, and I will continue pushing for practical solutions that preserve both our security and our communities.

Our work is not done, and I will continue fighting for the people of Southwest Texas. Read the full statement below.

📢 BRANDON HERRERA HOSTS COMMUNITY FORUM ON BIG BEND BORDER WALL

“One of the most pressing concerns in our district is the construction of a physical border wall cutting straight through Big Bend and impacting wildlife, tourism, and private landowners.

Tonight's forum was an opportunity to hear directly from those impacted by this wall. I remain committed to seeking solutions that keep our border secure while protecting Big Bend. Most importantly, I want the people in this district to know their concerns matter to me and I am listening.”
