ORLC Safehouse

Today, we hopped in the vans to travel from Orlando to Sarasota and arrived at Faith Lutheran, where we will be staying for the week.

We had lots fun getting to know each other better with carpool karaoke, amazing custard, and free time in the church gym playing basketball and volleyball!

As our companion group from Pennsylvania joined us later in the evening, we ended our day with worship and prayer together. We can’t wait for our first service projects tomorrow and to get to know each other even better as the week progresses.

It has been so cool to see the groups meld together and share such great laughter!

Thanks for holding us in payer as we continue to be God’s hands and feet this week!

Congratulations to Helena High as they captured 2nd at State Softball! So fun to watch the action! Way to go Kalley! Go Bengals! 🤩🥳

Last night of Mix-It-Up May filled with friends, fun, fellowship and of course SHOE! So much laughter all topped off with root beer floats!

Last night was a great night for bowling! Thanks for all who came for fellowship and made it a blast!

Kalley put many months of coordinating volunteers and hard work into her Girl Scout Gold Award! Last week she finally, put the finishing touches on the landscaping on her project of fixing up the Frank Mihelish Softball Fields at Helena High School!

So proud of this young lady and the wonderful generous heart she has for her community!

It always a great day when there’s fresh powder and you get to ski a few runs with some of the ORLC family and friends!

Due to the extreme temperatures forecast for Wednesday evening, Our Redeemer’s Lutheran has cancelled the caroling event at 6:30pm, and the Confirmation University and Safehouse youth group end-of-year Christmas party and trivia night at 7:00pm.
