🚀 Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Sockwell just got back from Space Camp, and what an adventure it was!

They had an amazing time learning, exploring, and challenging themselves through hands-on STEM activities. This professional development experience gave them so many new ideas and resources they can’t wait to bring back to our students and teachers.

During their week at Space Camp, they:
🧑‍🚀 Met an astronaut
🚀 Flew two simulated space missions
🥚 Completed an egg-drop rover landing challenge
🛡️ Built a heat shield to protect their “egg-stronaut”
🌙 Walked on the Moon and Mars
🚁 Zip-lined out of a helicopter simulator
🔧 Built and launched their own rockets
⭐ And so much more!

They’re excited to share what they’ve learned and inspire the next generation of explorers, engineers, and problem-solvers. Stay tuned for more photos and highlights from their Space Camp adventure!

Our very own Mrs. Renita Matthews has been named Shelby County’s 2025-2026 Elementary School Counselor of the Year!

Mrs. Matthews serves HIS well each day and is so deserving of this recognition! We love you and appreciate all you do!

The last day of school is always bittersweet, but this year was extra sad! We love you, Dr. Brooks! Thank you for your years of service and for being an outstanding human.
