Adventure Dad Life

I was talking to a soon to be dad that was nervous about having a girl and worried about being able to relate to her because he's into football and "guy" things. I told him two things. Involve her, and compromise. Show your kids the things you love, show them with excitement and passion and they will most likely find interest in those things. Compromise, understand that they may not fall in love with all the things you love and that's OK. But more importantly, take interest in some of the things they love. Who knows maybe they will introduce you to something new. And most importantly, spend time together.
