Bike Walk Helena strives to promote biking and walking throughout the Helena area through education and fun events.
To enhance and expand the walkability and bikability of Helena through the development of a safe, convenient and accessible network of corridors that serves to improve connectivity, promote alternatives to motorized travel, and enhance Helena appeal as a healthy, pedestrian and cyclist-friendly place to live and play.

You may have noticed that there is a new quiet zone and pedestrian crossing light on Benton near the railroad. We have heard concerns from many on how unsafe and how difficult it is to maneuver the entrance/exit to the Centennial Trail along with the sidewalk around the railroad arms on the west side, especially for people in wheelchairs and on bicycles.
