Todays claims from 3 owners is for 2 calves killed in Beaverhead County and 1 calf killed in Jefferson County.
Now that our name has changed, we will be working toward a license plate using our logo. We hope to have the license plate available very soon! Money from the license plates will be used to help Montana's livestock producers!!!
Montana's Governor signed legislation changing our board's name to Livestock Loss Board. We will be changing the name of our program to Livestock Loss Program as well.
Todays claims are from two owners and are for 1 calf and 1 bred heifer in Beaverhead County.

USDA Wildlife Services Billings office will not be open during a federal government shutdown. If you have a livestock loss in the western portion of the state, call 406-458-0106. In the eastern portion of the state, call 406-657-6464, leave a message on the voicemail for Mike Foster.
We have received notice that USDA Wildlife Services field personnel will still be working in the event of a federal government shutdown. If you suspect you have suffered a wolf caused livestock loss, continue to call Wildlife Services. They will still be performing investigations for livestock owners.
