Ready for a Recap?! 🦺🥾
This year, the Build Montana program received its first-ever grant funding totaling $62,500 from The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation and The Offutt Family Foundation/RDO Equipment Co. These funds were used to update the Build Montana Curriculum.
This year, 21 high school students from Billings, Kalispell, Great Falls, Missoula, and Miles City worked through the new curriculum and completed the inaugural Build Montana Registered Pre-Apprenticeship. On average, students completed 90 hours of coursework, 60 days on the job site, and OSHA 10 certification, walking away with real-world credentials and hands-on training. Some even left with summer jobs!
We are so thankful for the support and generosity from these organizations, which allows us to grow this important program.
This program would also not be possible without the time, money, expertise, and equipment provided by MCA members. We are so thankful to be working in an industry that is so passionate about workforce development.
PS. Sorry I couldn't tag everyone; Facebook wouldn't let me tag that many people!

Another round of graduates of the Build Montana Registered Pre-Apprenticeship!
This marks year four of the partnership between Flathead High School and Build Montana, and it’s only getting bigger and better. Six months of hard work resulted in some students walking away with summer jobs, but all walked away with a plan for the future and the potential for a successful career. We couldn’t be more proud, and can’t wait to see what you do next!
