I Ride For Life - Alayna Hutchings

Sorry for not posting when we made it back! Everyone was exhausted!
We made it back home yesterday at 9:30 in the morning. We drove 58 hours in three days that was over 2800 miles in the three days! I definitely don’t wanna sit in a truck for the next two weeks. That was a pretty long haul. But the horses did great. The only thing I have to say about the whole drive is screwed Denver. 😂 The highway sucks and the only place driving across the United States that I seen a car wreck both directions was only in Denver Colorado.  I don’t mind driving through the state of Colorado, but Denver is one of the worst places my opinion to drive with or without a horse trailer. I’d rather drive a trailer downtown of Orlando or Seattle or even LA California. Heck when I went through there at 12:30 in the morning, there was a car pulled over with 18 cop cars with their doors open with guns drawn . Thank you Lithia Dodge again for the great truck, never had an issue and ran her hard on this trip. No shut down time just kept trucking and the trailer did great hauling the horses no issues. The horses were glad to be here because that’s a heck of a haul for horses to stand in a trailer for 21 hours.

Made it back to New Mexico. Three more hours will be home and the horses will be happy to get out of the trailer.

Finally made it to MONTANA a few more hours for the day. We left at three in the morning and should be at our destination by midnight. 21 Hour drive is a little tiring.🤦‍♂️
