A little education that quickly turned into Champagne justification:

Salted popcorn with Blanc de Noirs, chicken nuggets with Blanc de Noirs, empanadas with vintage Blanc de Blancs, & churro donuts with Demi-Sec. Turns out the answer to "What pairs with Champagne?" is apparently "yes."

Four pours, four pairings, & one very important lesson: Champagne isn't just for celebrations - it's for popcorn, nuggets, donuts, and every questionable food decision in between. 🥂🍿🍗🥟🍩

A little Sonoma County strategy session: show up for trivia & music bingo at , enjoy a glass (or two) of Siduri Chardonnay, somehow remember enough random facts to win, & call it skill instead of luck. Not a bad way to spend an evening in California wine country - good wine, good company, a few bragging rights, & another reminder that Sonoma County makes everything a little more fun. 🍷🏆

Stirred & thriving .lagniappe - this martini just raised my Healdsburg status.

Downtown Healdsburg decisions: rye, cherries, and zero regrets. 🍒🥃

Rosé all day, but make it bro-sé - because nothing says "pink party for a cause" like a bunch of dudes fully committing to the blush life. 🍷 Real ones know: it’s all about the skin contact... and no, I will not be clarifying that joke. Supporting a great cause, dressed like a bottle of Provençal sunshine, & proving once & for all that pink isn’t a color - it’s a lifestyle.

Had a blast with this good looking crowd, great wines & a gorgeous venue.

understood the assignment: pour something delicious, make the bar look effortlessly cool, & staff it with people so friendly you consider canceling your next stop. One glass in & suddenly I’m a regular - notes of dark fruit, smooth vibes, and "yeah I’ll have another" lingering on the finish.

Rockpile AVA doing the most - this grape clearly woke up and chose bold terroir: mountain attitude, sun-soaked swagger, and just enough structure to pretend it’s classy. Tasting notes say blackberry, pepper, and a hint of “just one more glass”… for research, obviously. Side note : the air fryer in the background better have my nugs like soon!

Had a blast at Discover - discovered I should probably live there 🍷

Cool-climate vibes, volcanic soils, fog rolling in like it owns the place - & somehow every Cab is smoother than my decision-making after the third pour. Coombsville AVA (Napa’s low-key flex since 2011) keeps it classy with fresh fruit, soft tannins, & that sneaky ‘just one more taste’ energy.

Came for a tasting event, left emotionally attached to at least 4 wines and possibly a vineyard!

Dre and Snoop’s Still G.I.N.: smooth, laid-back, and straight outta that Chronic state of mind—“rollin’ down the street, smokin’ indo,” but make it citrus and botanicals.

Tasting notes: bright lemon, soft juniper, subtle spice, a clean easy finish, and that “laid back… with my mind on my money” kind of smooth that keeps the pours coming.
