We had so much fun Christmas Caroling with a group of wonderful friends from First Baptist Headland. It was so special because one of our sweet residents (Mrs. Patricia Granger) played the piano.

What a wonderful blessing our favorite Eastern Stars and Masons are to our residents here at Azalea Court! You all really out did your selves once again. We were all so blown away by your generosity!

Thank you so much to the First United Methodist Church of Headland for the super fun Pumpkin decorating activity. We all had so much fun creating our little pumpkin people. There were also many laughs shared and memories from time passed.

A BIG thank you to Mr. Louie & Mrs. Sandra Helms and Bethlehem Baptist Church for the delicious and very thoughtful cookie tray they gifted our staff here at Azalea Court. We are so blessed to have such thoughtful friends in our community! 💕

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to some very special friends for sharing a bounty of fresh vegetables and watermelon with our sweet residents. They were so excited to see this gift coming in the door today. I know that they will enjoy each of the many meals prepared for them with these vegetables. One resident has already asked (grinning from ear to ear), “When do we get to eat the watermelon!” Her grin didn’t even falter when I suggested they have it tomorrow afternoon when we finish shucking the corn. Again, thank you for thinking of Azalea Court with generous gift! 💕

Saturday (6/1/24): We had a FABULOUS surprise visit from Mrs. Catherine McKay and the Eastern Stars of the Headland Woods Choice Chapter 356 OES and Mr. Martin McKay and the Masons of the Headland Fellowship Lodge 439. In wanting to give back to the community, they put some BIG smiles on our residents faces and warmed our hearts. Thank you all so much for the cases of water, drinks, pens, placemats, toothbrushes, beautiful throws for our ladies and wonderful gift baskets for each resident. Your kindness and generosity was greatly appreciated!💕

We were so thankful to have the Headland First Baptist Seniors to come visit and bring goodies to our residents. They really enjoyed all the goodies, singing and the fellowship.

Thank you Zach and Wendy from Enhabit for coming this morning to play BINGO with our residents . They always love to see you guys come!

We had a little extra fun this week at Azalea Court. On Tuesday Zach with Enhabit and Tammi from Deep South came and played BINGO with the residents and Friday we made Bucket Ladies. We had so much fun even with rock noses falling off. They even gave their buckets names. 😂💕

We hope that your 4th of July was just as fun as ours was! Thank you FBC Headland Sunday School Class, Sadie with Covenant Care and Savannah with Southern Care Hospice for the goodies you brought by to share with us.

Friday morning we treated our sweet ladies with a Mother’s Day brunch and pajama day. They really enjoyed being able to sleep a little later and reminiscing about their mother’s, grandmothers and motherhood.
