It has been an amazing winter, busy in our construction and inspection land, life is great in the PNWest-excited for summer-this weeks highlights were passing Electrical inspections on our Bayview Cabin! And passing fire code and plumbing inspections on our commercial renovation at the Lake Village Lodge in CDa

When your inspector spots a concern on the deck of the home you just bought! Here’s a 20k fix it job! Don’t cut corners and never waive inspections!!!!! Fully rotten beam on a 2 story deck, in Idaho we inspect and repair! Main beam was basically dust, excited to make this MUCH safer!

Make sure your gutters are clean and your roofs are spotless, it can lead to some real nightmares if you don’t!!! Highlights from a brutal roof leak that penetrated almost 3 stories of a clients home. NEVER doubt the power of water and what you think is a small issue….These roof vents were all cracked on top-they were recalled years ago-valley had a major leak, and two other holes in this roof were present. Still on going, but at least dry before the North Idaho rains hit-Continually inspect your roof, it can be your saviour or your downfall! Another challenge met, and tackled by our team!

The proper way to set a fence post, making sure to raise concrete level so moisture does not collect around the post base causing rot. In addition we will add a roofing tar sealant around the - concrete to post connection - making sure water does not enter! Mt View Inspections and Construction, putting correct methods to use after seeing way too many issues…
