This 2006 Ford GT came through Bulletproof Auto Spa ahead of a sale, and the scope of work reflected exactly what serious buyers in this segment look for.

The process started with a full machine polish to correct the paint before anything else went on top. XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF then covered the entire front end over that corrected surface. Getting there required machine polishing the entire vehicle before any wrap film was applied, a full color change in Oracal Gloss Jetstream Blue vinyl, professional-grade ceramic coating over the finished wrap, brake caliper powder coat refinishing on the OEM calipers, and a plastic trim rehydration treatment throughout.

The order of those steps is the detail most people overlook. Wrapping over uncorrected paint means the wrap reveals the flaws rather than hiding them. Coating over degraded trim locks in the deterioration. Both are mistakes that are visible in the final result and difficult to fix without starting over. Getting the surface preparation right at each stage is what makes the finish hold the way it should.
