During today's regular meeting of the Kiwanis club, President Ron commenced the session with great enthusiasm until Judge Ronsoooo arrived. Upon his arrival, he began to issue citations to everyone, exercising his authority as a judge. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the members who have been part of the club for 25 years, we presented them with certificates today. We truly are the finest club in the nation.

To all Muslims globally, I extend my warmest greetings on the advent of Ramadan Mubarak. May this month be a source of divine blessings for all.

The Hawthorne Kiwanis Club's first meeting of the year was a resounding success, thanks in part to our esteemed guest speaker, a judge who provided us with a wealth of information. I'd like to extend my gratitude to our city commissioners, board members, and mayor pro tem for their support in making this meeting a great one.

The Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce had its first board meeting today at the Hawthorne Police Department. I appreciate our president the police department and all board members who attended. We mapped out our plans for this year and are ready to take action. We also want to thank assembly Member Tina Mckinnor staff.

Today, we hosted our annual toy drive giveaway for the Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce. Over 850 people attended, and we want to give a huge shout out to the Hawthorne Police Department. A big thank you to all our commissioners, the mayor, the City Council, Pat Donaldson CEO of the chamber of commerce and of course, myself, the vice president of the Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce. It was an amazing event and great work all around!

This morning at VFW Post 2075 in Hawthorne was incredible. I want to thank all the volunteers, cadets, and helpers who made it possible to feed our veterans and wounded heroes. I was grateful to help make breakfast for around 100 wounded heroes, combat vets, and their families.

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed friend, Chief Hoffman, from the Redondo Beach Police Department, on his remarkable 31 years of dedicated service to the department. Chief Hoffman is an extraordinary individual who has served his community with unwavering commitment and compassion. His contributions will be deeply missed, and he will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you, Chief Hoffman, for your unwavering dedication and service.

Today, the ministerial association of Hawthorne Lawndale held its annual turkey luncheon. It was truly a delightful event. I would like to express my gratitude to all the volunteers, the various nonprofit organizations, the Hawthorne Police Department, and the Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce along with my favorite Kiwanis Club Of Hawthorne!
for being part of this fantastic occasion.

Today marks the retirement of our esteemed Hawthorne Police Chief, capping off an impressive 32-year career that began and ended in our great city. He's undoubtedly one of Hawthorne's finest Chiefs. We appreciate the solidarity shown by fellow Chiefs from neighboring cities, including Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo, Torrance, Glendale, Culver City, and others. Thank you also to the Kiwanian's Club of Hawthorne and Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce President Patricia Donaldson for their support.
