❄️ Snow Traction: FWD vs AWD vs 4WD — What’s the Difference? ❄️

🚗 Front-Wheel Drive (FWD)
The front tires pull the car. Good in light snow because the engine weight sits over the drive wheels. Budget-friendly and reliable — but can struggle in deeper snow.

🚙 All-Wheel Drive (AWD)
Power automatically goes to all four wheels when needed. Best for snowy roads and slippery conditions. Great everyday winter confidence — just remember, it helps you go, not stop!

🚘 Four-Wheel Drive (4WD)
Usually found on trucks and SUVs. Designed for deep snow and rough conditions. Excellent traction, but should be used properly (and usually at lower speeds).

👉 Bottom line:
AWD/4WD help you get moving in snow, but good tires matter more than anything. No drivetrain replaces proper winter or all-season tires.
