My first Youtube video in over four years! If you saw me lugging around a big metal bar, that's my dolly that I bought for shots like some of these but it's been sitting in my trunk for 5 years. I think I shot this video back in late February or early March of 2020. Six years ago! This was a few weeks before some hot new coronavirus shut the whole world down. I had several weeks of free time to edit it but perfectionism never let me finish. I saw this rough cut in my YouTube unlisted videos and it made me giggle several times so I thought I'd share... finally. I still throw mostly the same discs, but I've upgraded my camera twice since then.

I had a whole huge heartfelt post typed out about "only" taking 485 photos and not taking my camera during the round. Then a whole paragraph inventing a word either photogenuine or photoauthentic for people that are so easy to capture their vibe, and not just their beauty. Then I went to a different tab to look up a link to the animal shelter and my post got erased. 😢

Last week I went to an awesome wild west undead-themed Halloween Party. The host made hilarious wild west AI versions of some of our best social media pics. Food was delicious! Before I left, I got a few group shots to capture the vibe and then did some magic in lightroom to fit the theme.

I've never been to FDR Park under I-95 in Philly. After eating way too much great food at the Southeast Asian Market, we walked over to check out the Sober vs Wasted skate competition. I got a bunch of decent shots of a few heats of people doing tricks in the main skate park, but then my guide took me to where he though the Best Trick contest would happen. We got a prime spot on the front line.

I got bonked by a falling skateboard on my head while changing lenses and had a blast! I don't know anyone or anything, so please tag your friends and share. THANK YOU!
