President David Arnett is pleased to announce that Rev. Dr. Cecilio Hernández is joining the staff of Northpoint Bible College and Seminary as the Dean of the Hispanic College and Seminary.
In this role he will lead the faculty serving in the Hispanic programs of the college and seminary. Included will be online programs, distant sites, and international locations. He will oversee the newly established Spanish Research Center.
He will be a member of the President’s Cabinet, and represent the Hispanic faculty on the Academic Affairs Committee. He will work with Convention Services to host conferences for various Hispanic Ministries.
Rev. Dr. Cecilio Hernández serves as Lead Pastor of Iglesia Cristiana Ebenezer in Lowell, Massachusetts. He also serves in the Presbytery for Southern New England Ministry Network as the Intercultural Ministries Presbyter working with ethnic credential holders and churches.
Dr. Hernández holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts (Lowell); a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University; a Master of Arts in Urban Ministries from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary; a Master of Divinity Equivalency from Gordon Conwell; and Doctor of Ministry from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.
Dr. Hernández is passionate about preparing the next generation of ministers for the work of the Kingdom of God and further developing Hispanic ministers already in ministry.

Five Day Spiritual Heritage Tour of New England - May 9-13, 2022.
Dr. David Arnett will be leading a tour of the spiritual and revivalist history of New England:
• Pilgrims
• First Great Awakening
• Second Great Awakening
• Start of Modern Missions
• Rise of Camp Meetings
• Holiness Movement
• Pentecostal Revival
Guests will stay on the Northpoint Bible College campus each night and travel by coach to the various sites each day.
Cost for the week is $800 per person. That includes a private room, breakfast and lunch each day, transportation to sites, and the price of admission to various venues.
An opportunity to earn 3 hours of college credit is available.

Tuesday’s chapel will feature Rev. Robert Reeves, Pastor of Calvary Assembly of God in Rochester, New York.
Wednesday’s guest will be Dr. Jim Vigil, the Director of the Doctor of Ministries program at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.
Thursday’s speaker is Northpoint professor Dr. Cecilio Hernandez. He also pastors Iglesia Cristiana Ebenezer Asambleas De Dios in Lowell, Massachusetts. Watch for the announcements about our our new B.A. in Pastoral Leadership taught in Spanish.
