Hi everyone, I know it’s been a long time but we have been moving. We moved once from Washington to a little town in Texas called Haslet. We bought the wrong house, we had three days to look at 18 houses and make a decision. We have now sold that house and moved into a brand new home in the little town of Justin Texas.

I’ve set up most of the house and now I’m working on my studio space. You can see from the boxes, I have my job cut out for me, but I have started setting up the perimeter walls. The rest should fall in place pretty quickly.

Please keep your eyes open for items from DBDcrafts to be for sale. My ETA on having the studio up and running is May 1st,  until then please keep your eyes peeled. I am dedicated to posting about what my new life is here in Texas.

It's been an uncertain year for me but we are ending it by doing a Christmas Market (listed below). Please, grab your friends and family and take a little drive North of Vancouver to Centralia and the SW WA Fairgrounds and come shop this market full of local small business owners.

It’s CHICKmas Week!!!! DEC 6 10-6pm and DEC 7 10-4. Come spend the DAY In Centralia/ Chehalis. LOTS OF LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES to visit & SHOP!! It TRULY MEANS EVERYTHING to Small Businesses when YOU SHOP WITH THEM.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted and I thought it was about time. I have had some health issues, broken foot in January, broke it again in March requiring my need to sit with it elevated for many months making it difficult to work. My daughter, business partner; moved to Texas in May, I assisted her in that move only to come home end of June with bi-lateral pneumonia that went septic. Eight days in the ICU and another 6 weeks on bed rest, 2 rounds of 2 very strong antibiotics and I am finally well. I’m slowly beginning to do bits of work. Also, my house is up for sale, so lots of stopping any work to clean everything up for showings, etc. My husband retired, getting used to that situation as well. Let’s just say it’s been a year.

I pulled out of all markets this year, but hoping to be able to get back into them, without my daughter for the time being. She’s getting married in March 2025, so that’s a great thing to look forward to. Hoping to be able to be making her wedding dress.

Thank God, I am still alive and feeling well. I’m working again and looking forward to getting more involved in the things I love. If you are in need of anything, hit me up.

Day two at Victorian country Christmas at the Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup Washington. 10 to 8 today 10 to 8 tomorrow, Saturday, and 10 to 6 on Sunday. .

Here we are at A Victorian country Christmas in Puyallup Washington at the Washington State Fairgrounds. This is a really unique event, the 35th annual, sort of like a step back in time. We are open Thursday through Saturday from 10 to 8 PM and Sunday 10 to 6.

Here we are at day three of the Portland Holiday Market at the Portland Expo Center on Marine Drive today 10 to 6.
