There are very few host rodeo committees that always make the kind of effort to grow and improve their event every single year. Part of that is dealing with all sorts of crazy weather. Last weekend the Sonny Acres Farm staff dealt with a tornado, several inches of rain, wind, lightning, thunder and more rain. Their entire staff just went to work, hauled truckloads of sand, lime and mulch, found tarps and covered the arena and then spent endless hours working on the pen so we could actually have the rodeo and keep our contestants and livestock safe. Their efforts are so very appreciated and its one more reason they remain one of the best rodeos in the country. THANKS SONNY ACRES! , , , ,
