All parents are invited to participate in the annual Title I Planning Days at Hartwell Elementary, North Hart Elementary, South Hart Elementary, and Hart County Middle School. These schools throughout the system receive Title I funds. Parents will have the opportunity to provide input on the school’s Schoolwide Plan, Parent/Family Engagement Plan, and the School Compacts. Parent/Family Engagement activities and funds for these activities will be discussed, along with discussion of Building Capacity activities. All plans are available on each school’s website.

We need parents to participate with school staff members on June 4th during our planning time from 8:30 – 3:30. Please call or email the school to inform the principal or assistant principal if you would like to participate. If you can’t be a part of the process all day, please join in with the school staff for whatever period of time that you are able to do so. Your input and participation are important.

Friday marked the end of a remarkable chapter at Hart County Middle School. We celebrate Mrs. Tracey King’s retirement from education!🧡

Mrs. King has touched the lives of countless students, families, and colleagues through her dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping others succeed. While we will certainly miss seeing her at HCMS, we are incredibly grateful for the difference she has made and the legacy she leaves behind. The relationships she built and the lives she influenced will continue to be felt for years to come.

Thank you, Mrs. King, for your service, your passion, and your unwavering dedication to students. We wish you nothing but happiness and success in the next chapter of your journey. Congratulations on your retirement! 🧡🖤

The 25-26 school year marked the end of an incredible chapter at Hart County Middle School. We celebrate the retirement of Mrs. Sandy Floyd after 20 years of dedicated service—all of them spent right here at HCMS! 🧡

For two decades, Mrs. Floyd has made a lasting impact on countless students, parents, and colleagues through her kindness, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to education. Her positive influence has helped shape the lives of so many, and her presence will be deeply missed in our halls.

While we are sad to see her leave the classroom, we are excited for the adventures that await her in retirement. Mrs. Floyd’s new full-time job will be making memories with her grandchildren and hopefully squeezing in a cruise or two along the way! 🚢☀️

Celebrating our All A’s at the annual All A’s picnic. 🧡 Go Bulldogs!

HCMS had a great day today celebrating our students at Funopolis in Commerce! 🎉 Students earned this reward trip through     having no office referrals, no unexcused tardies or absences, and no missing or incomplete work for any class for the 2025-26 school year

Students enjoyed 2 hours of rides and attractions along with arcade fun using their $10 game cards. We are so proud of our Bulldogs for demonstrating responsibility, commitment, and HCMS expectations all year long. 💙🧡
