Today, we remember Chef Ahmed with so much love, gratitude, and heavy hearts.
He was one of those people who could change the energy in a room the moment he walked in. He was funny, joyful, always dancing, always smiling, and always trying to make everyone around him feel better.
He cared deeply about our program, our team, and the people we serve. He showed up with professionalism, passion, and so much heart for hospitality. Whether he was in the kitchen, working with trainees, or simply sharing a laugh, he made people feel seen, supported, and welcomed.
Chef Ahmed was part of our Fire by Forge family, and his impact will stay with us in every memory, every lesson, and every moment of joy he left behind.
Our hearts are with his family, friends, coworkers, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest easy, Chef Ahmed. You will be deeply missed. Heard, Chef.🫡

Our Pastry Chef, Karrigan Pothier, stopped by WFSB to demonstrate a Brûléed Strawberry Rhubarb Basque Cheesecake and give viewers a preview of what we’ve been working on behind the scenes.
As Karrigan mentioned, our Summer Menu is on the way and expected to launch in mid-July. ☀️🍽️ We’re currently testing dishes, exploring new flavors, and putting the finishing touches on the menu.
The cheesecake featured on the show may even make an appearance as a special before then, so you’ll have a chance to try it and let us know what you think! 😋🍰
