State Rep. Greg Howard gave some remarks at the Tourism Coalition Legislative Wrap Up Friday morning. He also spoke to the Executive Director Frank Burns of the Connecticut Tourism Coalition.

In recognition of America’s upcoming 250th birthday, my office organized a student poster project to celebrate and reflect on what our country means to the young fourth graders in North Stonington.

State Representative Greg Howard was honored Friday by the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence as part of its “First 100 Plus Class of 2026,” recognizing leaders across Connecticut who work to improve the lives of domestic violence survivors and their families.

The recognition was presented during the organization’s 15th Annual First 100 Plus Breakfast & Awards Celebration held at the Hartford Marriott Downtown.

During National Police Week, we honor the brave men and women in law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities, especially Stonington Police, the Connecticut State Police Resident trooper for North Stonington, and Ledyard Police Department. Thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and commitment to keeping us safe. We especially remember the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Today, we thank the women who guide, support, encourage, and love unconditionally. Happy Mother’s Day to all who make a difference every day. 💕

As the 2026 legislative session comes to a close at midnight, the Capitol is moving at a rapid pace with final debates, negotiations, and votes happening right up until adjournment.

This session, I remained committed to fighting for the residents of Stonington, North Stonington, and Ledyard by standing up for public safety, protecting taxpayers, defending local communities, and opposing policies that would place additional burdens on Connecticut families and businesses.

The final hours of session are often where the most consequential decisions are made, and I am continuing to review every proposal carefully to ensure the voices of southeastern Connecticut are heard loud and clear at the Capitol.

Thank you to everyone throughout the district who took the time to reach out, share concerns, and stay engaged during this legislative session. It is an honor to represent our communities and continue fighting for the issues that matter most to you.
