Union Baptist is proud to sponsor a 10 week virtual program beginning in June. Students will also explore life skills, college readiness, leadership development and coping strategies through media arts.

The students have 6 virtual workshops with industry professionals to train them on how to use their phones to capture and then to edit and prepare media arts presentations as well as explore careers. After training, students declare a “major” and use their major medium to complete two digital media presentations before the end of the program. Based on major, students will be divided into small teams and each team will be assigned a mentor to provide both guidance and accountability. The mentors are current college students or recent college graduates that have interest and experience in photography, videography, graphic design and editing.
