A Mennonite farmer who served 3 years in Civilian Public Service during World War 2, and went on to start CROP farms in the 60's to help "feed the hungry people of the world." This is a family memoir, rich in history, stories and love.

Ok, so I'm one of many who worked behind the scenes for Third Way website (went online in 1998) and didn't often share my face here. This book, now out from Masthof Press & Bookstore tells more! Jillian Lynch did a really nice job with the news story on it and it is now up on the Eastern Mennonite University news blog. The work of MennoMedia was and is far flung, exciting, and sometimes, yes, sometimes a bit cringe-making.
