grew out of a concern many families in the Virginia Mennonite Conference had in the late 1960's; what would happen to their family member with an intellectual disability if they were no longer able to care for him or her. The doors to our first home, now known as Turner House, opened in March 1971. has grown from a six-person group home to a multidimensional agency with a variety of day and reside

This week is dairy week (one more day) at the Harrisonburg Day Program. We had taste tests, dairy recipes, and art projects. Some individuals chose to visit and tour the Mt Crawford Creamery. The calves felt extra loved that day with all the extra head pats and talking to. We love animals.

Looking for a place to connect, have fun, and build meaningful friendships? The Friendship Table is a new weekly social group for teens and adults with disabilities, where everyone is welcomed, valued, included, and loved.
🎵 Enjoy music, games, snacks, and fellowship in a safe and inclusive environment.

Another way to keep cool this summer is to find something fun to do indoors. Over the weekend Kelly and Megan had some home-spa time. Kelly loves to relax and have her nails done. They are an ocean blue color.

What are you doing to stay cool? 's own "Cool Patrol" Chuck, April, and Lisa took advantage of the Ralph Sampson Splash Park yesterday. They say that if you want to get cool, you should try it. Thank for providing a safe and accessible place to cool off.
