All set up and ready to go for Craft Sublime Artisan Fair at Basic City Beer Co.from 11-4 today! Come check it out!

I started a new job 2 months ago and for the first time ever, had to give up my spot in a craft fair because of work obligations but despite that, I’m thrilled to be able to add the next Craft Sublime Artisan Fair on Saturday, May 9 to my calendar! I’ll be set up from 11-4! It’s the day before Mother’s Day so make sure you come out and shop for a one of kind gift for a one of a kind mom!

I had a great time vending at the Rockingham County Fair last weekend.

Everyone was so friendly and the staff on site were incredibly well organized and helpful.

I do so many events by myself which means I don’t get to walk around, get food, or use the bathroom and one of the fairground staff was so kind, helping me with my tables at load in, checking on me constantly, and even brought me food when he saw how bad my hands were shaking.

💯 will definitely look to do more events there in the future!

If you, like I am, were cautiously optimistic about Michaels Stores expanding to carry Joann’s fabric, this is for you!

I was out and about today and able to visit a Michael’s in a different area then where I live.

Decent selection, decent prices, none of it on sale, but eh, okay, cool, have coupon, will shop!

Even managed to find a few cuts of things I’d had from Joann’s and since used up.

The lady cutting the fabric even told me they were planning to expand their fabric section at the end of March.

Woohoo! Right? RIGHT???

Ehhhhh….. no…. Got to the register and NONE of the store coupons work on the “cut to order fabric”!!!

I’m sorry?!?!?! WHAT???? I shopped at Joann’s because the coupon and rewards situation was far superior to Michael’s and now you’re gonna tell me the *ONE* thing I would actually go to Michael’s for now and I can’t use the coupons on it???

WTAF?!?!?!

So, caveat emptor… you go to Michael’s, expect to pay full price.

And read the fine print on your coupons because it’s a joke what you can *actually* use them on!
