Tip for food texture sensitivity: Let your child play with their food. Seriously.
It can help with trying new foods (other ideas here): https://www.theottoolbox.com/trying-new-foods
Touching, smelling, and exploring food with hands (no pressure to eat!) can build sensory tolerance and reduce fear around new textures.
Need more tips? We’ve got a full guide with strategies, a sample food texture progression, and signs it’s time to call in a feeding therapist.

🌟One of the best parts of our work is sharing it with others. 🌟
This semester, we welcomed student teachers to learn more about early intervention for children birth to three. Watching them learn from our experienced leaders and seeing the impact of this work firsthand reminds us how important it is to invest in the next generation of professionals who will support children and families. 🌱
