Blue Ridge Free Clinic

The free clinic is closing June 8-12 for well-deserved Volunteer Vacations! No medical appointments that week.

These three STARS on our Free Clinic team just graduated!! We will miss them, but know they will be a shining light wherever they go!

Thanks to a generous donation, we now have a dental laser that enables us to treat jaw pain, oral lesions, perform deep scaling and safer root canals!

Local nurse Jodi Morra serves community at Blue Ridge Free Clinic Jodi Morra, 67, started volunteering at the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Free Clinic, the precursor to the Blue Ridge Free Clinic, one night a week when she was homeschooling her kids.

May is Mental Health Awareness month. Our counseling office is proud to feature the dedicated individuals who volunteer with us weekly. Asking for help is a courageous act— and we are here for anyone in need!

Community service day with Blue Ridge Christian school’s finest! They did an amazing job sorting medications, cleaning, and landscaping! We are so thankful! 

Dr. Sellers began volunteering as a dentist at the Living Water Community Clinic in 2019, providing his expertise to the planning and construction of the free standing dental clinic. Additionally for years, Dr. Sellers served as the sole dentist, working to ensure patients received care. Today the modern facility offers three treatment rooms, a sterilization area, and a laboratory set up to meet the needs of the clinic's vulnerable patients. It is no exaggeration to say that Living Water’s dental services exist today because of his steadfast commitment.

In honor of and , we’re highlighting some of our healthcare volunteers, a vital component in the provision of comprehensive, quality health care to Virginia’s uninsured population. These volunteers make a huge impact, helping to keep operating costs down so free and charitable clinics can continue offering equitable and accessible care.
