The pandemic shut down the biofiber reinforced concrete work last year. Since then Dr. Castaneda and Dr. Kirkvold have been reimagining a fresh post-pandemic direction. We will definitely keep the immersive student involvement!
Are you ready to help people? Do you want to make a real difference? Are you passionate about infrastructure and materials? Well, then the Infrastructure Engineering Lab at JMU is for you! Madison Engineers (MADE) equip themselves and others with the engineering tools they need to make a difference in the world of tomorrow. The faculty in this lab leverage a strong technical foundation in civil engineering, structures and materials, to provide a pathway for engineering students to grow into their potential. We resonate with creative solutions to social challenges related to infrastructure, always seeking to make connections and create value through collaborative innovation.
