Do you have leftover seeds from your spring planting and not sure what to do with them? Donate them to the Seed Library at the Harrison Library! Our seed library relies solely on community donations.

The Harrison Branch Library dates back to 1880 when a Private Library Association was formed. In 1891 the library was donated to the Village of Harrison and in 1900 became one of the first two branches of the Cincinnati Public Library. This photo from 1903 shows the interior of the Harrison Library located at Town Hall.

Check out a birding backpack from the Harrison Branch Library. Each backpack contains a pair of binoculars for adults and one for kids, along with bird identification books, tips for beginner birdwatchers, and suggestions on where to see Ohio's birds.

We got our hands dirty looking for worms with the Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District. We learned how to attract worms to our gardens and how important they are for healthy soil! We earned our Camp Read Adventurer badges too.
